That could be helpful to read. While the topic is controversial, it is one that couples starting out should most certainly discuss together. I would suggest reading What to Expect Before . . . Great read to give you tips on how to take care of your body and bringing you to your optimal health for conceiving. It talks about the caffeine. That's probably one of the reasons why. I already don't have caffeine for other reasons—now I'm glad I don't!Christihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10849707075579558062noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-889618808438798298.post-31176620380573755402013-03-17T23:42:19.846-07:002013-03-17T23:42:19.846-07:00A woman who abstains from the pill for the reason ...A woman who abstains from the pill for the reason you mention should also, according to the same conscience, not consume caffeine. 200mg of caffeine (two small coffees) per day decreases the implantation rate and increases the risk of miscarriage from 12% up to 25%. I do find it curious that in the ongoing debate there seems to be a huge focus on the pill (which rarely leads to abortion) without much mention of coffee, tea, soda, chocolate, etc. (which frequently cause abortion). :/Westbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08952113260683210897noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-889618808438798298.post-25073802837048203202013-03-17T14:48:24.017-07:002013-03-17T14:48:24.017-07:00Thanks for sharing, Chelsea. I was so grateful that we had friends who wanted to help us make an informed decision about this—several people I've mentioned this to since have been surprised and said they never knew that!Christihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10849707075579558062noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-889618808438798298.post-83017396629284969692013-03-17T14:33:11.224-07:002013-03-17T14:33:11.224-07:00I so wish someone would have shared this informati...I so wish someone would have shared this information with us before we went on the pill initially. I ended up talking to my pharmacist about it after we had heard rumblings that it could be an abortifacient, and the pharmacist (who ended up being a Christian) broke down in tears as she shared what you shared here.
